Google Adsense Policy

This article will be very useful for those that have been having trouble getting into the google adsense programme due to Google Adsense policies. As a google adsense polisher I have had a lot of experience with Google Adsense especially when it comes to abiding with their policy and maximizing Adsense earnings, We are firstly going to start with the number one issue that get people kicked out of Google Adsense programme.

Invalid clicks and impressions
It was stated clearly “Clicks on Google ads must result from genuine user interest” as a publisher you are not allowed to click on your ads, Don’t even try to use it to confirm any thing. Secondly don’t try to play smart with Google, Adsens is one of google most effective programs they don’t joke around with fake click and impressions from publishers, so try not to “inflate impressions and/or clicks artificially, including manual methods.” Also do not try to encourage your visitors to click on your ads for any reason or try to use some deceptive methods to get clicks from your visitors. “click the ads”, “support us”, “visit these links” don’t use any of these languages or anything similar to it on your ads or place it close to your ads it is prohibited. Don’t use arrow to point to any Google Adsense ads on your page ,Images are not allowed closer to ads and don’t ever try to make your adsense ads sticky because on a neutral ground most blog readers finds sticky bars highly irritating. Don’t overdo your ads format let your visitors know that it is an advert make them trust your blog enough to click anywhere and know that they are on the safe side by letting your visitors know that a link is an ads they will know that by clicking that ads they are willing to leave your website by placing “Sponsored Links” or “Advertisements” above it but make sure you avoid “Favourite Sites” or “Today’s Top Offers” . Blog Contents Like het always say content is the key, your blog contents are what determines the type of ads that will be served to your website, Make sure your contents are unique and are writing by you as a result of your own research. Google Adsense don’t tolerate adverts on site with any of the contents listed below Pornography or adult, Violent, Hacking/cracking content, Sales of prescription drugs, Malware or adware, Sales of weapons or ammunition, Content regarding programs which compensate users for clicking ads or offers, Excessive profanity. Lastly Don’t display ads on contents that us not yours or site that are parked or meant to be sold, Don’t put ads on site that receive traffic from paid-to-click programs. Ads on thank you, exit, log in, or error pages are not allowed by google adsense because they are non-content based pages. You are no permitted to serve ads in New Window, Pop-up Pages and lastly don’t put ads in frame.

 Traffic sources

Your traffic source matters a lot because it determine the type of audients your blog is having , According to google you are not allowed to Use third-party services that generate clicks or impressions something like paid-to-click, paid-to-surf, autosurf and click-exchange programs. Be careful where you advertise your website, You can’t put Google Adsense widget such as search boxes or their result in a software or a toolbar. If you know your site will be having a lot of children visitors your need to notify Google about it, let me quote them here “If you implement any Google advertising service on a site or section of a site that is covered by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), (a) you must notify Google of those sites or sections of sites covered by COPPA using the tools found here: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/coppa”.

Product-specific policies

When it comes to Google Adsense for Content you are not allowed to have more than three ads on a single page which also includes maximum of one 300 by 600 per page, also maximum of two Google AdSense for search boxes are allowed on a page. “single link unit or image ad only may be placed on pages with AdSense for search results”.
